The
Ethno Vision 2004 is a 2004/2005
autumn-winter collection.
It was shown
at the CPD man.woman Fashion Trade Fair in Düsseldorf in February
2004 and at Belgrade Fashion Trade Fair, where it won the Golden
Hind award in the knitwear category.
Designer
Milan St. Markoviæ has borrowed the Valjevo manufacturer
IGO's signature ethnic Serbian designs and inspired them with
new life.
Modern in
cut and design, Milan's creations are minimalist and stripped
of the fussy details, which are often typical of traditional Serbian
dress.
They are
made of high-quality Italian yarn, displaying various shades of
colour, from white via pearl grey to graphite, and stand in stark
contrast to the conventional colours of ethnic Serbian dress.
The colours
and figure-hugging cuts emphasise the beauty of a female form.
